hCevian is interested in being friendly with monsters!  He has offered to answer your questions (one or two apiece).  [I have agreed to try my best to translate his answers. -bb]

[Good luck, and please try not to invite him into terrestrial reality, please. -bb]

An interesting answer. And useful.

I understand that a being such as yourself would find Prime emotions to be a detriment to your existence, but this was a "multi-dimensional" question.

In Primes with emotions intact and in balance with intellect, the question would be related to either their emotional state or the physical state, perhaps both. For example, an emotionally intact Prime could answer, "I feel fine", or even shorten that to "fine".

In Primes with emotions intact, but NOT in balance with intellect, one might answer, "Physically, I am well, and emotionally I am not experiencing any difficulties."

In Primes with damaged emotions, such a question can cause conflict. They understand it as a logical question, but it is being asked in such a way, that one must construct an emotional answer. Something they may not be capable of.

In Primes with few, or no emotions, there remains only intellectual responses. Such as the one you gave.

As such, it is my observation that both you and Ferelan will both return to your normal states in time. Ferelan will regain his emotions, and will have a much more profound appreciation for them. You will lose your ability to feel empathy and gratitude, but will have gained much knowledge in having experienced them.

In both cases, knowledge gained is never wasted when applied towards one's continued survival.

It would be inappropriate for me to suggest that you "cheer up, it will get better". A far more appropriate statement would be:

N
__ = N+q

T

Where N is equal to your well-being, over T, which represents Time, resulting in N+q, where q represents overall success.

Perhaps you intend dN/dT rather than N/T?

Wait, World Tree residents know about infitessimals? I find that very hard to believe the extremely crude methods being used to solve polynomials earlier in the journal.
