It feels quite good to us when our surface areas expand and/or contract in harmonic oscillation. We tend to be *very* enthusiastic about exploring the particular configuration spaces generating the most favorable neuronal transmissions.

Add into that, sometimes we do it when we are mad and want to hurt each other really badly.
