Aftermath of the Date [25 consimbs 4261]

(I met Zanniajaia back in Chirreb, for those who are trying and failing to keep track of such things.)

Dustweed:"Did your date go well?"

Me:"I spent the whole evening chatting pleasantly and nibbling on Ghu Navage Ghu's best nibblements with a very pretty member of my preferred species. And coloration."

Dustweed:"That sounds nice!"

I hissed flame at zir and slunk off to bed. Alone. In the fireplace.

I guess that must be why zie was hoping for a hotel room of some sort.

(It says something about me that after reading this post, I was all "Der? What's wrong?" until I read the other comments. I was scratching my head, trying to figure out if it was about something Dustweed had said earlier. Innuendo is lost on me, and thus I would do poorly in any real courtly subtleties.)

I suspect the tone of voice and posture of tail would have been a better hint in a real courtly situation.
