It is late. My brain is toasty from trying to plan two Beltane rituals for this weekend. I decided that I need to relax. Poetry relaxes me.

Don't say you didn't ask for it. Okay, *you* didn't, one of your readers did, but it's still your world and I don't have their email address. So you get it anyhow.

There was a young Zi Ri who slept with a spy.
Now I don’t know why zie slept with a spy;
Perhaps zie’ll die.

There was a young Zi Ri who slept with an Orren
Who wriggled and tickled and never was boring;
Zie slept with the Orren to forget the spy.
Now I don’t know why zie slept with a spy;
Perhaps zie’ll die.

There was a young Zi Ri who slept with some Cani.
How very clanny! To sleep with some Cani!
Zie slept with the Cani to forget the Orren
Who wriggled and tickled and never was boring;
Zie slept with the Orren to forget the spy.
Now I don’t know why zie slept with a spy;
Perhaps zie’ll die.

There was a young Zi Ri who slept with a Sleeth.
Imagine the teeth! Zie slept with a Sleeth!
Zie slept with the Sleeth to forget the Cani.
Zie slept with the Cani to forget the Orren

I'm embarrassed to admit that when I saw the opening line to this, my initial assumption was that it was a limerick...
