Considering...

Havune says I shouldn't. Havune says Spirshash, while
appealing in more respects than I am currently aware of, is
so volatile that I am far too young for him.

Thery says I should. Thery says I have been longing out
loud for someone to play with ever since I came to
school, and probably years before. She says that Spirshash
will abandon me ages before the difference in our lifespan
becomes a problem -- not only will I not need to outlive
whatever mistakes I make (and she says that your first
voluntary lover always brings mistakes), he will obligingly
scamper away from them.

Yarwain says I should too. He points out that as a
twice-married man, Spirshash should have some measure of
understanding of how to be pleasant to a companion.

Dustweed sounded pained by the whole conversation, and
ventured no opinion.

I do not want to ask my sibling.

How does one even think about this sort of thing?

Your first time...

You will never again have another first time, so make it special. Make it with someone that you trust implicitly, and that you can give your heart to (even if it's not forever.)

I don't know whether Spirshash is a good choice -- you're very reserved, and Spirshash is, well, an Orren. Can you see yourself on your back in the water, surrounded by seaweed, trying to break clams on your chest?

When it's right, sex isn't just the physical. (If that's all you want, rub against a pillow.) It's also emotional and spiritual. It's a deep sharing of minds and souls. Is Spirshash -- and his mates, since they're a part of his life -- someone that you want to be so closely tied to?

I would ask Spirshash of the river whales, if he knows of them I would take myself far, far away. Be careful Sythyry!

Badly, I believe. In general.
