I once cohabited with a very large lizard, named Blue..because, well, zir scales were a lovely bluish green. Blue liked to lie around all day basking in the sun and especially liked lying on my pillow when I was home sick from work.

Blue was not as pretty as a Zi Ri but was charming, all the same.

More seriously, yes, I am of a species that I believe you would call a monster, but a well-behaved one. I am extremely fond of chocolate, clementines, tea, and cats, and could probably eat Chinese food three meals a day indefinitely.

I once invented a test for monsters to use to determine which species of prime (or other commonly occuring mostly-civilized creature) they would be most suited to pretend to be, were they to infiltrate the World Tree somehow.

It kept telling me I should be a bonstable.

Further investigation showed that it told *everyone* they should be a bonstable, and I was forced to scrap the whole idea.

I have been, at times, a bit of a closeted fan of a series of movies (perhaps the best way to describe them would be as a play, recorded such that it can be viewed at will) about a lizard significantly less friendly and much, much, much larger than yourself by the name of Godzilla.

I do not know if I am prime, composite or a singleton. I am, however, having a very hard time choosing something about myself to tell you. So much of it is external or indicative of so little. Regardless, I can say that I like raspberries in cream, dark chocolate, thunderstorms and deep kisses that last for days but only take a minute to complete.

I am from a large sphere seemingly suspended by the laws of our Gods around a Sun like yours, which in relation to us doesn't move. I came from a land surrounded by water and shaped like an Orren trying to make a muscle and failing. In this place, small intelligent dragons are stuffed in glass cages and sold beside common rodents, and domestic cats, or if they are lucky, are displayed for an audience's amusement by a man named David Letterman who describes their actions as "Stupid Pet Tricks".

...currently living on a pleasant, temperate blue planet in the Sol System, third from the sun. On this planet is a small archepelago in the middle and eastern fourth of the western hemisphere's ocean, known as the Pacific Ocean. This chain of islands is owned by the government of the United States, which is the central area of the northern continent at the borders of the eastern and western hemispheres, and it is this government I have chosen to serve as a military enlistee.

As befitting one of my nature, I serve my government as a communications engineer in the US Navy. I have been to sea for five of this planet's rotations around our sun, and am now enjoying the privelidges of serving on a "shore-based" station, which is far more stable than being on a ship at sea. I have been enjoying this "shore station" for three of this planet's revolutions around our sun.

I am currently residing on the third major island in the chain, known as Oahu. The town in which I call home is named Wahiawa, which in the tongue of the original inhabitants meant "Place of Thunder", and it was the favored residence of ancient royalty. The air is cool and pleasant, the growth of the mountains lush and the bounty of the soil rich and plentiful.

The people living here are the same as people anywhere I suppose...some are nice, some not so nice. I seem to get along with most, if not all of them.

I do not know what it means to be Prime, so I cannot say weather I am or not.

Since my joining my government's military services, I have been to the Mid East and caught oil smugglers, and chased internationally wanted criminal vessels to the very edge of international incident off Iranian territorial waters. I have shopped in the gold and spice souks of Dubai and enjoyed the hospitality of taxi drivers.

I've hiked the jungles of Thailand on foot and ridden the Outback of Australia on horseback. Hired my own motorboat up the waterways of Burrard Inlet in Vancouver and felt the sting of fresh snow on my face skiing down the slopes of Portillo in Santiago, Chile.

I have enjoyed the hospitality of the American Consulate in Suva, Fiji, and felt the Mana course through me as I raced the wind and rain on horseback on Rapa Nui, aka Easter Island. I've eaten the world of Asia at Lau Pa Sat and dined upon the fare of Europe in Antofagasta, Chile and Pattya Beach, Thailand.

I have traveled far, seen much, met many and STILL...

I know so very little and seek to know more. *grin*

I am indeed prime, although one would not know it without careful examination of my magerium ... I am the reason why beginning students in Wayamenes are advised not to use Mutoc Corpador for practical jokes, and, if they do anyway, are more strongly advised not to include Sustenoc, and, if they do anyway, are particularly advised to use only as much cley as the spell requires and not three times more.

I built it out of cardboard - shoeboxes etc. The grand prize was not getting eaten by my pet tortoise, which was the usual fate of earthworms in our household at the time.

I don't recall whether I actually got things like the roulette wheels to *work*, but I remember I had a lot of fun building it. I think my parents were a little creeped out, though...

I like Enchantment well enough, I suppose. I have some skill at it and a good deal of familial advantage in that regard.

But I do not think I will ever enjoy it as much as I do sketching and painting. Then again, perhaps if I were expected to draw as a career, it would not be fun, either.

I am, by the standards of your realm, insanely wealthy. I live in a house with doors of real wood and a basement of stone, and eat my food with steel utensils. And yet even a part time servant is too much of a luxury for me, and I had to scrub out my carpets myself.

As you perceived, I am a monster...but of a type that (If ever I am fortunate enough to visit the World Tree) could likely pass for a cani on first glance.

I am currently a resident of the kingdom of Andor. If ever you have the opportunity to visit, I would gladly introduce you to the local powers and nobility! The hospitality of the palace is legendary, and I'm sure that you would find no end of pleasant and stimulating conversation with the local enchanters and workers of magic.

Like your lady Strenata, I am afraid that I am something of an adventurer. It's only a hobby, I assure you! Most of the time, I'm only a thief and gambler, which I'm sure you will agree are much more reputable professions.

Now that I think about it, I am also employed as a performing artist and acrobat in the Palace. For some time now, I have been forgetting to show up to work, and they have been forgetting to pay me. Tch. I suppose that I should do something about that before they think to remove my belongings from my room in the Palace.
