I have never created and or lost a mashed potato golem and if there is one rampaging or otherwise making trouble then I am assuredly not responsible and know nothing on the subject!

Long ago and not that far away, when I was young, in college, and creating my first dungeon to run people through. I was getting sleepy one night and started populating the most recently-drawn section of graph paper with creatures beginning with the word M. For reasons that I didn't even remember shortly thereafter, one room just had 'mashed potatoes' written for it. In the theory that the GM should be able to handle anything (since the players so frequently do anything-else-but-what-was-planned), I ran it. THe room was full of mashed potatoes. Everyone was confused, dismayed, disgusted, and annoyed that there was another door in the room visible.

This being on the order of 30 years ago, I don't remember much else. But I don't remember ever telling Sythyry's translater about it....

[It's also why all the polls are done in the main journal, which is paid.]

I absolutely dread and fear a Mashed Potato Golem. How do you defeat it? Where is there a spoon large enough to fling it at your brother?

You defeat it with a cheese and bacon catapault, obviously.

Not that zie's ever called it an adventuring party. I believe "classmates" and "crew" have been the more common terms.

Pirly should not stop boinking people at work if he goes into a trade that involves boinking people! Or I might have chosen that option.
