“The great Lord Flokin employs three terrible Revenge-Makers for the torment of those who defy the Pyroclastic Prophecies! The first of the Revenge-Makers that Lord Flokin employs is Ji-Ka, the Fever, and this Ji-Ka brings dizziness and woe and pain, and leaves trembling which shall never be hidden by strength! The second of the Revenge-Makers that Lord Flokin employs is Gi-Ju, the Scorching, which inflicts the skin and the subcutaneous muscles, and brings pain and weakness, and leaves scars that shall never be hidden by fur! And the third of the Revenge-Makers that Lord Flokin employs is Ba-Go, the Lust, which inflicts the mind and the soul, and brings humiliation and impropriety, and leaves scars upon the reputation that shall never be hidden by time! These are the three terrible Revenge-Makers that the great Lord Flokin employs, and they shall find their employment within each who rejects us!” – Hubuchof Neja, arch-polemecist of the Pyroclastic Order, Hanija.

Tabragore: [on reading this] “Do you actually employ three Revenge-Makers as this Neja person says?”

Flokin: “Probably! I don’t know for sure though. My Elemental Resources department is rather higglety-pigglety.”

I think Neja and Flokin are both confused those all sound like Corpador not Pyrador. Although the Noun gods aren't always clear on their distinctions.

I bet Gnarn and/or Accanax are responsible for the first two, though.

I hope Flokin, at least, isn't confused about what is Pyrador and what isn't...

I'm sure it knows what's Pyrador! I'm not sure it would answer correctly if you asked it about it a specific, though.

I'm not sure it would answer correctly about anything.

Yes exactly!

Flokin: “Probably! I don’t know for sure though. My Elemental Resources department is rather higglety-pigglety.”
Does that make Flokin a good boss, or bad? Which ones are good to work for? It must be tough working for these beings, dealing with things like people's records getting misfiled.

I'm pretty sure all the gods make terrible bosses. Angels seem perpetually somewhat disgruntled, or so I understand.

That creates opportunity for at least nineteen kinds of bribery!

Well, fevers and scorching are both linked with heat, and the last one is clearly the flames of passion. :-)

Every organization needs an Arch-Polemicist!

It's always annoying to work for someone who thinks their instructions are the word of god.

Angels have long hours, poor prospects for promotion, and generally poor pay, stretching out into infinity. I'd be disgruntled too!

Of course, all the good angels eventually get offers to be noun gods in startup universes, so the ones left must either be mediocre or value security above oppurtunity.

Or unable to leave, like Thefefy!

If another verb god wanted Thefefy for another project, I'm sure they could get her out of there easily.

One example does not make for strong precedent. Kvarse, one of the mightiest and most active Noun Gods of the World Tree, has apparently been a creator god of other worlds before. Lenhirrik may be kin to Virid. Kaimiri... who knows, but Kaimiri is thought to be the strongest being on the Tree by an order of magnitude, not a hopped-up servant. There's a bit more of a link between "Here" and Locador elementals, apparently, but if anyone could manage an infinity of worlds without needing to promote someone else to do it, "Here" would be it - reaching those other worlds would be much easier for such a being than for those whose powers lie in other areas(not that any of the gods are necessarily limited to their art beyond the convention of who governs it in a particular world).

Some might get promoted thus, but I think it's rather a stretch to say "all".

I was exagerating for comedic effect, to continue the godhood == corporation meme.
