So, this is primarily for primes, but I'll let anyone answer it. I may try to do some statistics on the result, if I get sufficient energy. I really need to get my clients to answer it, but I don't know how to do that discreetly.

I understand that the answer to the question "how much do you lust for Cani" is subtle and tricky. Do I mean -- how much do you secretly want them? How much do you try to sleep with them? How much do you succeed in sleeping with them? Some other choice? Well, pretty much, I do mean that, more or less any of that. I will let you take your own definition, though I am more interested in what you like than what you do. This isn't a very careful survey anyhow.

Why did you choose world tree nonprime, but you have a human avatar? :P *tease*

Because I don't believe human beings are analagous to Primes.

Available and verifiable evidence suggests that the universe of the World Tree was made for Primes and that Primes were given a special place in it. For example, each of the Primes races has innate connections with all 19 gods, which I do not believe is true of any other species in their universe. Within living memory (of certain Zi Ri) their gods have instructed them in the ways of their civilization and instructed Primes to live together and to accept the Prime status of each of the other Prime races.

I don't think that my universe was created for the benefit of human beings exclusively. I don't think that my God instructed my people in the way of civilization or gave us a special connection to Him that no other race shares. Human life is special, and sacred, absolutely. But it is no more sacred than that of any other sapient, and I am no more Prime than a Cyarr or a Taptet is.

[H'm. You're Christian, IIRC, but I guess not a strictly-orthodox follower of one of the main varieties, which I think give humanity a distinguished role in the universe as the one and only species receiving the incarnation of the god's one and only son. Well, not that the varieties I know much about really mention other sentients, but one gets that impression anyhow. Not that I'm one to complain about anyone's Christian orthodoxy!]

I believe in the divinity of Christ and that he is our savior. I am not sufficiently Christian to call myself Christian or to satisfy anyone's definition of Christian.

[Makes sense!]

Wouldn't that be "Offworld non-prime-analog" then? I am just thinking that you made a slight typo!

Ah, I see your point.

I usually think of the equivalent of the world tree being Earth, though. And even if the gods didn't set us up to own the planet, we pretty much do.

... that was something I wanted to use in a game, someday. Alternate planes of reality == other planets in the solar system.

First, I wish to reference the old DnD setting "Spelljammer" for that; grand fun, if you ran it properly. More of an in-between setting, really, but if you're interested in doing the planets/planes contrast, it's a fair example of one way to play with it.

Second, I would generally agree; I would see humans as a prime equivalent by choice, if you will. While there is no evidence whatsoever that whatever gods of said universe(s) setting humans above any other creature, they do play a more powerful role on the planet as a whole; arrogant as it sounds, the world does revolve mostly around them, and they have more power and control.

Then again, that may simply make them the nastiest nendrai of the setting, as http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HumansAreCthulhu (and if you are prone to Wiki Walks, sorry for the 'tropes link).
