And finally, let's concoct Advantages and Disadvantages! Same general approach as the spells. These can be things like "Strange Priorities", "Sharp Ears", "Loyal Pet", "Metal Weapon", "Magic Item", "Intuitive Magic". Or they can be things like "Burglar Experience" or "Guard Mage Experience". (Or various other things). Anyhow, we'll have two lists. And we'll have magnitudes of the advantages and disadvantages. The lists will be alphabetized, the magnitudes will not be.

From the rural village idiot to crazy inventors to local TV weathermen to famous urban eccentrics like Emperor Norton I, every community seems to have someone who's some how managed to be come incredibly successful solely by combining huge amounts of charisma and crazy. With the Celebrity Crackpot advantage, you can be that person.

I freely admit to having picked awkward and/or weird ones. Then again, Screaming and Flailing Experience (+1) is something most adventurers pick up sooner or later.

Every wizard has people who wish they were the wizard's companions, clients, or friends, but aren't. So they hang around near the wizard, hoping to occasionally get to meet the wizard, and volunteering eagerly to provide cley or to be a test subject for the wizard's latest project.

Wizard groupies? They'd be especially impressive when trying to help with Pyrador enchantments, all standing there waving magic fire-devices overhead.

People may think that making something foolproof is easy – but that merely proves the fool to be the maker. People may think that proving something against fools is easy, but the result is much the same. It takes a quality fool to prove anything foolproof, because all fools act different and few fools can intuit how to fool in the right ways~

A proofing fool, then, is one skilled in finding the myriad ways that things may break, fail, or be confounded when used wrongly. They are far more valuable than most recognise.

I had the hardest time trying to think of whether a lengthy period spent as a live target for enormous killer birds would be an advantage or a disadvantage... But I figured that it should really mean something if this person actually lived long enough to retire. :B

Though I also wish I knew more about the game rules so I could make better judgment calls on these things, even though this all seems pretty whimsical. ^^

Though on second thought, Sorceror's Assistant and Cleyseller would probably be some what similar, though Cleyseller would have a lot more social baggage and probably get a lot less spells out of the deal.
