OOC: The Story So Far

LiveJournal does many things well, but it's kind of awkward following a long story from the beginning. So I have collected the Sythyry journal entries, from the beginning to pretty recent, and put them up on the World Tree web site here. If you see any problems or other oddities with them, please let me know. I'll try to keep that page reasonably up to date, as convenient.

Oh, thank you! It's hard to switch between "reading about Earthen friends" mode and "reading about this cool other world which I have to concentrate on in order to understand" mode. I'll get better, once I memorize your World Tree FAQ.

But for now, would you be offended if I took you off my Friends List and instead read Sythry's story straight off the World Tree Site? I still have Bard's journal Friended. But I find myself skipping over your entries more and more because they're difficult for me to skim quickly!

No offense of course, but I don't expect to keep the web site up to date -- every dozen entries or so, perhaps, I will put on the web in a batch.

(Unless lots of people prefer the web site to LJ.)

And also quizzes and suchlike don't show up in the web site, only on LJ.

Missing words:
": I bought a half-pound of dried salted fish, planning to stew, but Thery and Havune were ahead of me for that . I flew back to the smaller market and bought a big of chub-beetles, and a small bottle of vinegar, and had to get home before the others were done. Havune teased somewhat, but, well, at least I bought the beetles at the , and got enough for a couple days. After they are , I will make salted fish stew. "
Indeed, I do not know the Bard's journal specific! Where might that be?

Yeek! Thanks for warning of missing words! They are now fixed!

My personal LJ is [livejournal.com profile] bard_bloom. I have only used it once.

Ahh!
Well, when one can speak of a feathery blue creature of great delight, why talk about anything else? :>

Phew!

I'm actually glad you did this, because I think I started reading Sythyry's journal rather in-the-middle of his exploits, and now I can start from the beginning. This is a big thing with me: If I haven't started a series of some kind from the beginning, then it's impossible to keep reading it.. but I enjoy this journal too much to just stop reading.
Anyway, I'll go read those entries now. Thanks!

Excellent! I am periodically curious about the backstory, but couldn't bring myself to slog back through all those calendar pages. Thanks a bunch!

And then I went to the calendar pages and read them all that way. What a geebernabber I am. Thanks anyway, though. If I hadn't known that this story had some kind of beginning, I wouldn't have undertaken to read it!

It was rather nostalgic when I got to the entries where I first started reading (the series of quizzes that so dissatisified your academagogues) with no idea what any of it was about.

I'm flattered that you chose to add me to your friends list, but find myself curious ...

Why? What about my mostly-locked journal caught your attention?
