Wednesday. Usually I cook for my family 4-5 times a week, but I've been sick. I made a kuku (or fritatta, or tortilla) of leftover chicken, zucchini, onions, garlic, and ras al hanout.

Edit: This is a very strange button. It evidently turns into a LJ post of its own, without you being aware of it.

Last Friday. I made a baked macaroni and cheese casserole.

Just now I cooked myself some pasta with red pesto sauce.

Prior to this (and so most current at the time of first reading) would have been a pasta bolognaise two days ago (it lasted through yesterday). It featured beef, tomato and mixed herb sauce, tomato pureƩ, onions, garlic and red pepper. It initially came out a little bit too tomatoey (thats a word now shush) so I added some smoked paprika to take some of the tang out.

There was also salt and pepper to taste, but thats a bit of a given.

My only complaint with it was that I did not use enough red pepper, curse me for only having one in the flat. As for it being the first time I have made a bolognaise, I think I did well.

I'd also like to add that I can cook quite well (even though it is a safe assumption that if this was my first time cooking a bolognaise that this might not be the case) and have most of the skills down... except for timings... I will get this perfected one day!

This comment also seems to have turned into its own LJ post...

I just mushed together 1 can of refried beans, 1/2 a jar of salsa, 1/4 of an onion, 1/4 a block of feta cheese, and a few dashes of some variety of chili pepper.

Heat in microwave for 3 minutes, stir after 2.

Add a huge dollop of sour cream after it's done heating.

I *like* it, but I'm not sure it counts as cooking. I don't think any chemistry is going on here -- it's just a warmed up version of all that stuff mushed together.

I think I love this and I haven't even tried it yet.

This is far more complicated than I expected of you! >:)

I don't usually make anything more complicated than boiling pasta, with premade sauce or parmesan cheese.

*laugh*

Well, now, actually; today I'm making crockpot barbecue ribs with pineapple. Last night it was coconut-lime ice cream (though that didn't involve actually heating anything).

Take some potato and cut it up and fry it, then put it in a dish topped with a mix of cream soup left over from lunch, whipped up eggs, and some preserved tuna. Bake the whole thing in an oven for long enough to write a page of notes on a chapter of _Impractical Uses of Healoc_ for a project due the next morning. Cut in pieces and eat. Spont a Pyrador spell in the middle of the night to re-warm the left-overs, misjudge it more than a bit, and spend the next ninth of an hour cleaning soot off the ceiling.

Would you have preferred that the button turn into seven hovering sentient cups?

The last complex-for-me cooking I've done was a baked oatmeal cake, a good snack food. Just oats, raisins, canned fruit and water, mixed, compacted and baked in a tray.
