I scouted -- I hunted -- I flew over the quadrangle -- I saw my prey leaving Sprowlween Hall -- I circled -- I descended -- I pounced!

Me:"Good morning, Mynthë!"

Mynthë:"Good morning, Sythyry. I was wondering whether I'd scared you off."

Me:"After one has been killed by a nendrai, lesser perils hold little terror. Indeed, the prospect of inviting a sweet friend to spend the late afternoon utterly fails to chill my blood any-the-more."

Mynthë:"Wait ... Vae killed you?"

Me:"No, not Vae. A male N. Violens, off in the Nereidscray. Named Llethillasessat."

Mynthë:"How did that happen?"

So I got to boast at zir for a bit, and get interrogated with questions about nendrai territoriality and romance which, despite watching Vae and Lleth, I mostly didn't know the answer to. A third of an hour later...

Me:"Late afternoon is Orren-only hour at Beelbarrel Pond. "

Mynthë:"Oh?"

Me:"Let's go!"

Mynthë:"But it's Orren-only hour ... oh. OH! "

Me:"Yes -- that kind of Oh!"

Mynthë:"Both of us?"

Me:"Absolutely!"

Mynthë:"Wonderful!"

I am wondering if there are any Orrens showing for the Orren only hour, or if all the Orrens are others, cloaked.

Many real Orren go there. I didn't notice any other fakes, but they could be disgused with some very good illusion spells I suppose.

(1) Yes, I think. Provenance counts.

(2) Yes, in most cases. There aren't species markers per se. (You can tell primes from non-primes, but that's different.) But nearly all Cani have a strong connection to Reluu, which is visible, and no similar connection to any other god. Exceptions do exist: a Cani whose connection to Reluu is of a nonstandard strength, or an Orren with a Cani-sized connection to Reluu. They are rare. I don't know if you can tell species from the magerium beyond that.

Orren have many secrets. They change day by day, but most of them involve the arcane art of pushing Sythyry's buttons in both good and not so good fashions. I hear they even have their own college where you can specialize in Zi Ri taunting on a professional level. I hear Seeks Noun Strenata is a graduate.

Does Cloak of another God give you Orren genitalia? If one cloaked Orren mated with another cloaked Orren, could a pregnancy result? What happens when the spell expires?

That's because Mynthe is a cosi, and they tend to be the most "girly" of bugs, my neighbor notwithstanding. I would hardly expect cir to behave like a Cani man! If zie had a furred boyfriend, or a Herethroy girlfriend, I'm sure zie would seem much more "feminine". Zie did, in past, as I recall.
