Feb. 5th, 2007 08:18 pmBlood Moon Rising has published a chapter of my forthcoming novel A Marriage of Insects in their free web issue. Go take a look, at my stuff and the other things, if you like.
No, I don't write horror. My chapter comes from the middle of Marriage; the protagonists are at a Lovecraftian horror theme restaurant. In the next chapter, several of them go into the actual temple of Lovecraftian horror, while the others go shopping.
I hope it's more or less comprehensible. I wouldn't have picked a chapter from the middle of the novel, except that my publisher recommended that I send some excerpt to Blood Moon Rising, and that was the most on-theme I had around.

Date: 2007-02-08 02:06 pm (UTC)WHY did you start writing this blog; WHAT things prompted you to start it and keep writing here?
HOW does the LJ format and the commentary provided differ for you from the usual "read this and critique it". How has it helped and hindered the development of your characters and their story?
Do you write it with the big picture (novel) in mind, or is it just the life of Sythry as zi puts it forth?

Delframber: Pregnant, dear. Pregnant.
Me: Oh, thanks. Aha! Just choose the story that most evokes Sythyry!
