Well, my apologies to all of you. That last questionnaire was far too much fun, but -- as several people pointed out -- as approximately as safe to turn in as a more mundane assignment that I happened to write on a live nycathath's wing rather than regular paper.
So, I'm doing it again. I'm doing it properly, and I'm doing it gently, and I'm doing it with all available care. Hopefully this will be the last one for this assignment.
A Zi Ri shouldn't really get impatient, I know... Alas.

Kathia!
Date: 2002-12-08 09:30 am (UTC)[OOC - you are encouraged to make up new spells. The ones in the book are only representative; after all, magic is the technology of prime civilization! -bb]
Dustweed has Simmer the Leaves of Life (Cr Su Aq Py Te 5), in which you put kathia leaves in a wooden bowl, cast the spell, and immedately have steeped kathia ready to drink. Use reduced-power casting: a wizard could cast this spell and make overcooked kathia!
A few friends have Make the Morning Kathia, but like most easy food-making spells, it's not very satisfying. If you don't know kathia very well, your spell-made kathia is terrible. If you're a real connesseur, you can create tolerable kathia, but nothing like as good as you could make from real plants. [OOC: the quality of magically-produced foods and other craftworks is about half what you could do yourself, with simple spells at least.]
