The Supreme Weight-Loss Solution [10 Consimbs 4261]

A while ago, Vae made me a lot bigger for some stupid reason, and then made me a lot smaller, ending up with me at roughly my proper size. Of course, this was Mutoc not Healoc, so I wound up at her best memory of my proper size.

Of course, she hadn't seen me straight, much less measured me. (Dustweed remarked on that to me too -- "Sythyry, I've never seen you straight, and we've been living together for over a year now.) I'm very rarely fully extended! Usually I have my head curled up with a graceful curve of my long and sinuous neck, and usually I have my tail oscillant behind me or curled around something. So very few people actually know how long I am.

And, of course, Vae made me a bit too big.

That spell wore off today, which means that I got a bit smaller, which means that my ribbons all got loose.

Just one of the perils one faces as a ~brave~ and ~stalwart~ adventurer!

Look on the bright side...It could have been much worse. Depending on how strong one's ribbons are and how tightly they were wrapped...Had Vae erred in the opposite direction the resulting sudden constriction could have hurt!

I know one poor fellow whose 'Shape of the Blossomary' wore off while he was sneaking through a blossomary sized tunnel...

For another way it could be worse - the offsetting spells might have ended at different times... Or did Vae do something to make the shrinking spell contingent on the growing spell?

Just imagine - you could have ended up tiny enough to hide behind one of your ribbons...
