I will give five Kindle-format copies of The Wrath of Trees to five people who will promise to review it on Amazon by Jan 31. Do you want one, on those terms?

By Jan. 31? Yes, if you'd like. My comment on an early sample was that I liked it but was overwhelmed by how thoroughly alien the setting's introduction was.

If not, I'll just buy it for $2.99 on the Kindle anyway. By the way, if you have comments about the process of formatting for, and otherwise working with, Amazon, I and probably others would be interested to hear them.

I'll end up buying one, and I'll probably review it if you like, but I don't think I could get that done by Dec 31st, all things considered.

I too would like to hear how one prepares a book for Kindle.

January 31 -- Dec 31 was a mistake on my part.

I'll do that, then!

I can promise I would review it by then, but I cannot promise that any review I give would be a master word play. I can find it hard to commit simple things to the written word at the best of times, and sitting down to objectively write something I know others will read may pervert my opinion of the topic itself, to the point where it becomes my opinion on what others may want my opinion to be.

Keep me in mind if you cannot find anyone better (i.e. almost anyone who can write in English [or other desired review language]). If not, I'll likely pick it up at some point after getting a kindle (within the first four months of next year), for however much it is, and review it then if you still want reviews at that time.

I can do this, and this book is on my Christmas wishlist this year. I remember watching Tod do the cover.

I distinctly remember sending you my e-mail, but the more I think about it, the more I think I may have messed up e-mailing you my details, and may have just private messaged you over LJ.

Truly I am the fool supreme.
