OOC: Web Site, Icons

The amazing and talented djinni has produced another icon for me -- this one for OOC postings, which amuses me considerably.  I am going to work on a costume like that!

Just in time for a less delighted announcement. Our web hosting has utterly collapsed, evidently losing most of their files on our web sites.  (We have some backups, though perhaps not the most recent.)   Sythyry.com will be down for a while.  The amazing, talented, and amazingly busy beetiger is reconstructing the various sites she's responsible in priority order, and, since Sythyry is adequately mirrored on Livejournal and Dreamscape, I have put myself at the bottom of her priority order. The World Tree RPG site will be down for a while too, for which apologies.

Nice new icon, and I hope the failure of your web hostage hasn't hurt things too much, though I must say I have missed being able to comment on it in LJ.

I wish there was a way to sync comments between sythyry's personal site and LJ.

The Renfest near Cincinnati has a shop where you can find some excellent leather masks, including stylized fox and dragon masks. I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a leatherworker who could do something like that in your area, especially considering your various contacts.

I love the new icon. djinni is made of gold-plated WIN. He has done several character illustrations for me, mostly Torn World characters but also (at someone else's request) the Origami Mage.
