OOC: Dwarf Diaries

OOC: A long long time ago, when unix were few and multics were relatively many, I was pretty active on the D&D mailing list. There was a lot of "fluff" on the list: stories
people wrote about their D&D characters, and, for a while, each others'. The world got destroyed a few times. There was a lot of powergaming. I decided to write a sort of counterpoint to that, about some dwarves who got caught in the crossfire.

I didn't keep what I wrote, though.

But the gentleman in charge of the D&D mailing list archives has dug it up. Here it is.

OOC - goodies for donations

beetiger is making nifty silk scarves for Katrina donations. I've seen them. They're quite spiffy.

I'll offer cameos in Sythyry for donations. $5 gets a cameo of you as any non-Zi Ri World Tree species, with personal details as best as I can figure out. $9 gets a cameo and a scarf.

We'll make the donation through somewhere that doubles or triples it, if we can.
